Do you want to develop a business plan to start your own business? Are you looking for the latest information on your stocks, bonds & other investments? Need information about local, state, national & international companies or industries?

The John F. Germany Library is the finance and business reference center for the Tampa-Hillsborough Public Libraries.

The Small Business Reference Center is a valuable reference resource for small businesses. The library has a wide variety of general books on financing, starting and running a business, including the Entrepreneur business start-up series. Specialized resources such as the Advertising Red Books, the SRDS (Standard Rate and Data Service), the RMA Annual Statement Studies, the CCH Human Resources Series, and extensive demographic references are available. There is also a large collection of local and national business magazines and newspapers.

John F. Germany has an extensive finance collection including current and past years of Mergeant's (previously Moody's) and Standard & Poor's financial reports, the Daily Stock Price Record back to 1969, CCH- Capital Changes Reporter, as well as various bank and business directories.

The librarians will give quick answers over the phone and are happy to help customers in more extensive business and financial research.
