Be a Star, Be a Storyteller

Join our free six-week storytelling workshop series for students in grades 3-8! Starting in January, participants will learn to tell engaging stories and may have a video of their storytelling shared on the HCPLC YouTube channel.

Registration is recommended for the entire series. Limited to 15 students per workshop.

Storytelling Jamboree

Saturday, April 18 at 3 p.m.
Seminole Heights Branch Library

Enjoy tales acted out by star Storytelling Ambassadors from the library’s storytelling workshops, followed by a guest performance by award-winning storyteller Robin Schulte.

Profile of Robin Schulte

Robin Schulte is a former high school English teacher with an MFA in Creative Nonfiction. She has spent over 30 years sharing folktales, literary tales, and personal stories with family audiences throughout central Florida. A winner of the National Storytelling Festival Story Slam in Jonesborough, Tennessee, Robin also has two audio recordings: Jack & the Levitator and Other Stories and Late. Night. Stop., which received a Storytelling World Honor Award.
