The library experienced flooding and roof damage due to Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton. This damage has caused delays to the original restoration project.

- Sealing of the exterior of the building to prevent further moisture intrusion

- Complete restoration from hurricane water damage
- Complete elevator cab repair
- Remove built-in bookshelves to access, replace, and repair data cabling and HVAC ducts
- Reinstall bookshelves once data cabling and HVAC repairs are complete
- Seal pipes
- Pending ceiling repairs, including plaster repair work
