Log reading and activities to unlock digital badges, story recommendations, and for adults a free one year membership to Friends of the Library of Tampa-Hillsborough County, Inc.

This summer is a chance to connect and to share our stories.

Take a photo and tell us your summer library story when you:

Arrangement of prizes: Ninetendo Switch, GoPro Hero 7 camera, Kindle, karaoke machine, headphones, camera

Win books and cool technology-based prizes in this year’s reading challenge when you:

  • Log your reading between June 1 and July 31, 2021.
  • Attend select live virtual events this summer.
  • Complete the photo challenge between July 6 – July 16, 2021.

By registering for summer reading, participants of all ages will have a chance to win tech prizes including Bluetooth speakers, cameras, gaming consoles, headphones, robotics, and tablets.

Photo Challenge

Use this year’s theme Tails and Tales to stage a photo reading a book with a land animal – this may include a pet or stuffed animal – and post it on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter between July 6 and July 16, 2021. When you post, include the hashtag #HCPLC21Summer and title of the book.
